ENABLE-LEND-A-HAND-Cupertino Chapter,  is a High school student run Chapter that uses community 3D Printers available at Maker Spaces to create free 3D printed upper limb assistive devices for recipients born with missing fingers or lost them to war, disease or accidents. We are Digital Humanitarian” volunteers making free and low-cost prosthetic upper limb devices using open-source 3D printable designs from E-NABLE.

We are now 3D-printing for Adapt3D (A nonprofit organization that aims to save lives by solving Ukraine's medical supply shortage) – printing palm, wrist, finger, and finger extension braces for civilians and soldiers injured in the Ukraine war.

Our Approach

The e-NABLE Community is an amazing group of individuals from all over the world who are using their 3D printers to create free 3D printed hands and arms for those in need of an upper limb assistive devices. They are people who have put aside their political, religious, cultural and personal differences – to come together and collaborate

The chapter has continued in its 3D-printing efforts by printing palm, wrist, finger, and finger extension braces for civilians and soldiers injured in the Ukraine war for a Nonprofit organization called Adapt3D that aims to save lives by solving Ukraine's medical supply shortage. This work will allow us to extend the reach of the Cupertino e-NABLE chapter by inspiring others to join in our efforts to use 3D printing for humanitarian causes.
